1. Who provides Oruva
Oruva is provided by Anass Anedjar, a sole proprietor trading as Oruva, based in Casablanca, Morocco (“Oruva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact support@oruva.app for product or account help, sales@oruva.app for pre-purchase and order questions, and hello@oruva.app for general, legal, or privacy matters.
These terms govern your use of Oruva's desktop application, website, account services, and conversion features. Oruva's Refund Policy describes our additional product-support and refund-assistance commitments. Purchases through Paddle are also subject to Paddle's sale terms as explained in section 7. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
2. The product
Oruva is a desktop application for organizing local creative assets, using optional on-device AI, creating moodboards, cataloging 3D models, opening files in 3ds Max, and delivering supported .max scenes into Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, or SketchUp.
Availability depends on your operating system, hardware, destination application, renderer, and source files. The compatibility guide describes supported combinations. Buying Oruva does not include third-party software, renderer licenses, paid assets, or a promise to deliver a future feature.
3. Accounts and trial access
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an Oruva account.
Oruva 1.3.1 requires an account, including during the trial. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Each person using a paid seat must use their own account; purchasing a Studio package does not permit sharing one login across a team.
A new eligible account receives a 14-day trial of the whole application with 10 scene conversions in total for evaluation. Scene Generator is limited to three models per run during the trial; each assembled scene counts as one conversion. Using all 10 conversions stops further trial conversions, but the rest of the app remains available until the 14-day period ends. Further conversions require a paid license. The trial is tied to account and machine eligibility. Reinstalling Oruva, clearing app data, or creating additional accounts does not create a right to another trial. After trial access ends, a paid license is required unless another access right is expressly offered.
A conversion may count when authorization for a distinct source scene is reserved. Retrying the same source does not create a new trial item under the service’s normal retry rules. If a failure appears to have used a trial conversion incorrectly, contact support for review; do not send private scene files with your initial request.
4. License grant and Studio seats
Subject to payment and these terms, an Individual purchase grants one named user a non-exclusive perpetual license to eligible Oruva versions for personal and professional work on up to two computers used by that person. The same purchase may be used on Windows and macOS where a compatible Oruva release is available. It does not promise support for every processor or operating-system version.
A Studio purchase grants the number of named seats shown at checkout. Each seat covers one person, with the same two-computer allowance. Seats are not concurrent or floating licenses to be rotated among more people than the organization has purchased seats for. Separate operating-system and virtual-machine installations count separately, and you must stop using an installation you replace. An installation’s place stays reserved until its offline authorization expires, unless it is released through a confirmed sign-out on that installation or through recovery. Two confirmed early releases are available per rolling 30 days; releases after expiry do not count. One automatic emergency replacement is available per rolling 180 days. For further replacements, contact support so we can verify ownership and help with the change, without a recovery fee. Repeated requests alone do not establish misuse or end your license. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. The purchasing organization may reassign a seat when a member leaves or their role changes; the previous user must stop using that seat. Contact support for reassignment or help releasing a lost or replaced computer.
A valid paid seat has no trial conversion quota. Conversions that require license authorization remain subject to the account authorization and offline-access requirements below. You may not resell or transfer a personal license to another owner; legitimate reassignment of an organization’s own Studio seats is permitted as described above.
The software is licensed, not sold. You do not acquire ownership of Oruva’s code or services. Any agreement shown during installation must be read with these purchase terms and does not reduce the refund promise or mandatory rights attached to your purchase.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Oruva only with files you own or are authorized to use. You must not:
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
- share account credentials, resell access, or use more named seats than purchased;
- circumvent trial limits, license checks, or technical safeguards;
- reverse engineer or extract conversion components except where applicable law permits it; or
- use the service unlawfully or disrupt Oruva or other users.
A legitimate refund request, report of a defect, or exercise of consumer rights is not misuse.
6. Your files and third-party software
You retain your rights in your files. Oruva does not obtain ownership of your library or converted output. Conversion does not give you additional rights in assets owned by someone else. You are responsible for backups and for checking output before relying on it in a project.
Destination applications, renderers, plug-ins, and other external services are governed by their own terms. Their compatibility, features, prices, and availability may change. Optional features that contact outside services are described in our Privacy Policy and the relevant feature or plug-in information.
An Oruva account is not cloud backup or library synchronization. Moving to a different computer or changing an account does not move your local library automatically.
7. Purchases, prices, and Paddle
For a purchase completed through Paddle, your contract of sale is with the Paddle entity identified at checkout and on your receipt. Paddle is the reseller and merchant of record: it charges you, handles applicable sales tax and VAT, issues receipts and invoices, and processes refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern the sale and payment transaction. Anass Anedjar, trading as Oruva, supplies the software license, account services, and product support under these Oruva terms. These terms and Oruva's Refund Policy do not restrict rights provided by Paddle's applicable buyer terms, refund policy, or mandatory consumer law.
Review the product, seat count, currency, tax, discount, and final amount before paying. Website prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise; checkout may offer a local currency. The offer and final total shown at checkout apply to the purchase, without limiting advertised commitments or mandatory rights.
Use the email associated with the intended Oruva account. Contact us with your receipt if paid access does not appear, an email is incorrect, or you need help with an invoice. Do not make another purchase to resolve an account mismatch before checking with support.
A one-time license purchase does not start a subscription. Optional update renewals require a separate purchase and do not charge automatically. We do not store your full payment-card details.
8. Updates, online access, and termination
Versions and update access
Your initial purchase includes the current release available on the purchase date and twelve months of updates from that date. You retain the right to use the versions included in your paid update period when that period ends. Renewal is optional; not renewing does not revoke your existing license. You may renew later without paying for a gap, and a lapsed renewal starts a new twelve-month update period from that renewal purchase. A renewal includes the current release available when you renew, as well as releases during the new update period. An early renewal adds twelve months to the existing end date.
The currently advertised optional Individual update renewal is $59 per year before applicable tax. Studio renewal pricing is confirmed before purchase; the Individual price is not a promise to renew an entire Studio package for $59. The displayed renewal offer will identify its seats, price, and dates before payment. Future renewal prices may change; a period already purchased is honored.
Online access and offline conversions
A perpetual license describes the duration of the software-use right, not a guarantee that hosted services will operate forever or that future hardware will remain compatible. An account and periodic authorization are required. Conversions that require license authorization can work offline for up to 30 days for Individual or 90 days for Studio after a successful authorization refresh. When that period ends, reconnect and sign in to refresh eligible access.
Online account, authorization, and checkout services may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. If we plan a material service change that affects purchased access, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and explain available options. Nothing in this section removes remedies required by law for a product we cannot provide as promised.
Refunds and access changes
Use the trial to evaluate Oruva before purchasing. Oruva offers voluntary refund assistance for the qualifying problems described in the Refund Policy. This does not restrict refunds or other remedies available under Paddle's applicable buyer terms, refund policy, or mandatory consumer law.
For Oruva's voluntary review of technical problems or non-delivery, contact sales@oruva.app or Paddle within 14 calendar days of payment, using the payment date on your receipt. This is a reporting deadline, not a money-back guarantee; a timely report remains timely while we investigate. Report duplicate payments when discovered. This deadline does not limit rights under Paddle's applicable terms or mandatory consumer law. See the Refund Policy for qualifying cases and request details.
A full license refund revokes the access granted by that transaction. An update-renewal refund removes only that renewal’s additional entitlement. A duplicate-payment refund leaves the retained purchase valid. If a partial refund is agreed, we will explain any effect on access. None of these actions deletes local files or restarts a trial.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, abuse, or legal necessity. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the issue and allow it to be resolved; urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action. During a payment dispute, access associated with the disputed transaction may be suspended while it is reviewed. A lawful dispute does not itself waive consumer rights.
After termination, stop using access you no longer hold. Terms concerning intellectual property, payments, limits that may lawfully apply, and dispute resolution survive where their nature requires it. Ask support if you believe access has been restricted in error.
9. Warranties and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, Oruva is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free conversion, fitness for every purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or compatibility with every file, plug-in, renderer, or third-party application.
This does not exclude an express commitment made with your purchase, our refund obligations, or a warranty, conformity obligation, refund right, or other consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded. Report a fault or material mismatch with what was advertised so we can address it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oruva and its provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or production time. Our aggregate liability arising from Oruva will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant Oruva purchase.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and do not reduce our express refund commitments. The applicable mandatory protections take precedence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, law, or business changes. We will publish the revised text and its date. We will not use a later revision to shorten an update period already purchased, reduce the number of paid seats, or remove a refund promise attached to an existing transaction.
We will give notice of material changes affecting existing customers and obtain consent where required by law. A new checkout offer applies to a future purchase, not retrospectively to a completed one.
12. Governing law and questions
These Oruva software and account terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Subject to any mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of Casablanca, Morocco have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes with Anass Anedjar concerning these Oruva terms. The sale and payment transaction with Paddle is governed by Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms, including their governing-law and dispute provisions.
