1. Who provides Oruva
Oruva is provided by Anass Anedjar, based in Casablanca, Morocco (“Oruva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact us at hello@oruva.app.
2. The product
Oruva is a desktop application for organizing local 3D assets, using on-device AI search and captions, creating moodboards, cataloging 3D models, opening files in 3ds Max, and delivering supported .max scenes into Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, or SketchUp through protected conversion.
3. Accounts and trial access
Oruva 1.3.1, the version covered by these terms, requires an account. A new eligible account receives a 14-day trial of the full application, including five protected scene conversions for evaluation. A conversion may be counted when authorization for a distinct source scene is reserved; retrying the same source does not create a new trial item under the service’s normal retry rules. After the trial expires, a paid license is required to continue using the application unless another access right is expressly offered. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
4. License grant
Subject to these terms, the End User License Agreement shown during installation, and payment of the applicable fee, we grant one named user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable paid perpetual license to install and use eligible Oruva versions on that user’s workstation and laptop for professional or personal work. The paid Oruva License unlocks unlimited protected scene conversions for the licensed account while the license remains valid and the required authorization service is available. It includes twelve months of updates from activation unless checkout states otherwise. The software is licensed, not sold, and no ownership in Oruva’s software or services is transferred to you.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Oruva only with files you own or are authorized to use. You must not:
- use Oruva to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
- share, resell, sublicense, or misuse account or license access;
- circumvent conversion limits, license checks, protected transport, or technical safeguards;
- reverse engineer or extract protected conversion components except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use the service unlawfully, maliciously, or in a way that disrupts Oruva or other users.
6. Your files and third-party software
You retain ownership of your files. You are responsible for backing them up and for confirming that converted output is suitable for your project. Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Houdini, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Corona, Windows, and Paddle are third-party products or services governed by their own terms. Oruva does not grant licenses to those products.
7. Purchases and Paddle
Where a purchase is offered through Paddle, Paddle acts as reseller and merchant of record. Paddle processes the transaction, collects applicable taxes, issues the receipt, and handles payment details under Paddle’s terms and privacy notice. The price and product shown at checkout control the transaction. Mandatory consumer rights and Paddle’s buyer terms continue to apply.
8. Updates, availability, refunds, and termination
We may provide updates, compatibility fixes, or security changes. Online account, authorization, and checkout services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, fraud, abuse, or legal necessity. A refund or chargeback revokes the associated paid entitlement but does not, by itself, terminate these terms or delete your local library; any remaining trial or other access continues under the product terms then available. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oruva is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free conversion, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or compatibility with every file, plug-in, renderer, or third-party application. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oruva and its provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business, goodwill, or production time. Our aggregate liability arising from Oruva will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Oruva License. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product, law, or business changes. We will post the updated terms and revise the effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence remain unaffected. Subject to any mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of Casablanca, Morocco have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
