Help › Models & 3D apps
Send a model to your 3D app
Right-click a picture, choose Send to, your app and renderer. The scene arrives with its materials.
Steps
- Pick a picture that is connected to its 3D model. Connected pictures show a small link badge.
- Right-click it and choose Send to, then your application and renderer.
- If the download holds more than one 3ds Max scene, Choose a 3ds Max scene appears: pick one, then Convert and send.
- If textures are missing, Texture check lists them: choose Add a folder to search… or Send anyway. When nothing is missing, sending simply continues.
- Keep Oruva and your app open until importing finishes.
Inspect and save
Open the imported material in your app’s material or node editor and check its textures, layers and bump or normal inputs. Read any import notes about approximations, run a small render, then save the scene under a new name and reopen it once.

While your 3D app is running and connected, Oruva shows renderers it can’t run as unavailable. Version ranges are intended compatibility, not a promise that every renderer and platform combination has completed testing. Check the requirements and compatibility on oruva.app for the exact tested setup and its limits.
