Make your library searchable

Install the AI models once, prepare each library with Make It Smart, then search by words or by a picture.

1. Set up the AI models

Open Preferences → AI and choose Choose AI models. Set up Oruva AI checks your graphics card, memory and free disk space and recommends what fits. Take the recommendation or choose Customize, then Install. Visual search and the Assistant run on this computer.

2. Prepare this library

Choose Make It Smart under Tools in the sidebar, then Start in Make Library Smart, to describe and tag the library’s pictures. When preparation finishes, search this library by words or picture. After adding more pictures, open Make It Smart again to prepare anything still waiting.

3. Search

Type what you remember: colour, material, shape, or a plain-language description. Or drop a reference picture onto the search bar to find previews that look alike.

Download stopped? If Oruva can’t reach the download server, it says so and offers Retry. Check your firewall or connection. See Troubleshooting.
