Name files so they connect by themselves

The same name for a model and its pictures is the best practice. Imperfect names are the safety net.

The best practice

Give a model and its pictures the same name, and number extra views: riolo.zip with riolo.jpg, riolo-1.jpg, riolo-2.jpg, riolo-3.jpg. Oruva connects those and saves the connection in your library.

When names differ

Oruva also uses shortened descriptive names, renderer or year suffixes, duplicate downloads and versions, files that were downloaded together, and a model folder’s name or marketplace ID. If several candidates stay plausible, they wait for you in Model Matcher.

To let Oruva find models kept elsewhere, add their folders in Preferences → Library, under 3D Models folders for this library.
